Warmer weather is upon us. What does that mean?
It’s popsicle season!
This is another 3-ingredient* recipe that can be interchangeable with your favorite flavors. Have fresh strawberries on hand? Use those! Only have vanilla yogurt? That would be great as well. Just have fun 🙂 Either way, without all that corn syrup or artificial junk, you’ll be rocking that itty bitty bikini in no time!
*Could use more depending on your flavor preference.
[In the ingredient section, I have what I used to make Blueberry Coconut Fro-Yo-Pops in perentheses.]
fruit & granola fro-yo pops
(I made Blueberry Coconut fro-yo pops: ingredients in parentheses)
Serves 6
Points Per Serving: 3pp
What you’ll need:
•6 piece popsicle mold (I use this)
•2oz fruit, (blueberries)
•2oz granola (blueberry flax granola)
•1.5C yogurt** (organic fat free greek yogurt)
(1T, 1t unsweetened shredded coconut, optional)
(1¼t coconut extract, optional)
(1T honey, optional for sweetness)
**If using plain greek yogurt, in a small bowl, mix yogurt with your favorite flavors. I used coconut, coconut extract, and honey.
•In a 6 piece popsicle mold, add a little amount of yogurt on the bottom of each mold.
•Next, add some granola and fruit.
•Repeat layers again while pushing the yogurt down into the fruit & granola to ensure it all sticks together.
•Lastly, end with yogurt on top.
•Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for 5-6 hours or until frozen.
•Enjoy!
This looks so good!! I am adding it to my list of things to make this summer 🙂 I just got a whole bunch of granola with my nature box and now I know what to do with it! xx
