Brace yourself. This is the queen bee chocolate sauce of all chocolate sauces. No need to run to the store (who knows what’s all in that stuff anyway…)
This has 3 ingredients and a ton of uses: drizzle it, dip it, layer it. Whatever your little heart desires ❤
easy chocolate sauce:
If using the entire recipe at one time:
Serving Size: 1/4C
Points Per Serving: 1pp
If using the recipe for different uses:
Serving Size: 1 Tablespoon
Points Per Serving: 0pp
the 3 things you’ll need:
2T unsweetened Hershey’s Special Dark Cocoa Powder*
2T** unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or milk of choice)
10-15 drops of stevia (or more/less to taste)
*I tried it with Trader Joes Unsweetened cocoa powder and couldn’t get it to taste right. It was VERY bitter and couldn’t seem to add enough sweetener If you have any success or ideas with this, let me know! 🙂
**For a thicker glaze/icing consistency, use 1T + 1t of liquid.
Stir, stir, & stir some more until all lumps are gone and it’s a smooth sauce. It’s a beautiful sight.
Use immediately or store in the fridge for future use.
Let’s talk about it being universal. Use it on pancakes, as a fruit dip, spooned over ice cream, or drizzled on a scone (chocolate for breakfast? yes please!) You better bet I’m going to add coconut extract to it one of these times for a chocolate coconut flavor 😉 oh my …
